A new shelter needs your artwork.
In the summer of 2014 a new facility for the victims of domestic abuse will open in Madison. More rooms, more beds, more space and a tremendous amount of new blank walls.
This is where you, the Wisconsin artists come in. The staff of DAIS (Domestic Abuse Intervention Services) will continue all the exceptionally important work they do with the victims and family members that find themselves spending time in the shelter. You can help by donating your work to adorn the walls of the new facility.
We are friends of DAIS looking for work that is uplifting, positive, empowering and inspiring. The artwork in the new DAIS shelter will go a long way in showing clients that others care. Surrounding them in beauty will convey hope and support healing in a very special way. We know that every artist who donates a piece of their work also donates a part of themselves. And we are grateful.
